Fullerly

Why I built Fullerly

Bedtime keeps starting without me.

Reina is seven. Sophie is five.

Your voice, even when your calendar says no.

The honest part

I'm Yichen. I build AI front desks for businesses, so they can answer customers at any hour. At home, I kept missing bedtime with my own two kids.

Work calls run past bedtime. Bedtime happens anyway.
Then one of them asks: "Are you working again?"
When I am home, my body is there. My head is still in a meeting.

"Just one more email" is never one email. It's the whole bedtime.

If you felt that, you are not the only one.

From large surveys of parents in the United States by Pew Research Center.

68%

of US parents of children under 18 say they are at least sometimes distracted by their phone when spending time with their children.

So I asked a different question.

The obvious answer is to work less. Meanwhile: if I can't always be there, can my voice be?

That question became Fullerly Family.

What it is not.

It is not a babysitter, a monitoring service or an emergency service. It never claims to be me. In Talk mode, if a child says something that sounds like danger, it tells them to get a grown-up now and, with alerts on, tells me straight away.

And it can't fix a long day. No app can tuck a child in.

It doesn't replace me. It holds my place until I'm home.

For every parent who works late.

Kids notice when we're gone. I wanted them to still hear me. If that sounds like your house too, Fullerly Family is free while it is in early access, by invitation.
